What made you want to renovate your bathroom?

"Our old bathroom never really worked for us — the layout felt cramped, and everything was a bit tired. The pink was just a temporary makeover to get us by until we were ready for a full renovation. The real push came when the shower floor started leaking into our newly renovated kitchen — that was our sign it was time to focus on creating the bathroom we really wanted."

What inspired your design choices?

"When it came to design, I knew I wanted something neutral and timeless that would age beautifully. But before we could get to the pretty bits, there was a lot of structural work to tackle — the old bathroom had to be completely ripped out, the walls were crumbling, and the floor needed replacing. In the process, we even uncovered a hidden window in the shower, which now brings in so much more natural light!"

How did you achieve the classic look?

"To achieve that classic feel, we went for a traditional suite with beautiful brass fixtures and fittings — elegant and enduring. That’s where Tavistock came in. What's your favourite part of your new bathroom?

"It’s hard to pick a favourite feature, but the corner bath is definitely a standout. It gives the look of a freestanding bath without overwhelming the space. And our new vanity area? Total showstopper. The mineral blue double sink vanity adds just the right amount of contrast to the otherwise neutral palette, while the brass taps, wall lights, and touch-lit mirror bring a sense of hotel luxury to our everyday."
